Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、アフリカ系アメリカ人文学を、理論的枠組みとして交差性の理論と思弁的実在論を接合することで得られる知見に照らし合わせて、アフリカ系アメリカ人文学の展開において重要な役割を果たした作家たちの作品を思弁的フィクションとしての観点から分析することで、近代における黒人文学の位置付けの再評価につながるような新たな視座を構築することを目的とする。アフリカ系アメリカ人文学の展開において新たな方向性を指し示した４名の作家を中心に、まだ文学研究にはほとんど導入されていない思弁的実在論の観点からアフリカ系アメリカ人文学の展開の検証を行う。
