Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は戦後の日本及び東アジアにおけるフォークナーの受容の実態を、1955年の彼の訪日の影響の検証を通じて、インターセクショナリティの観点から明らかにすることである。そのために、2025年度では各研究担当者がフォークナーの訪日、及びフォークナーと関連する国内作家について、その影響関係について研究する。2026年度は、戦後の東アジアの作家に対する合衆国の文化外交政策の政治的・文化的問題と意義とを批判的に検討し、その成果を2027年度に国際学会で発表する。
