Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、アメリカ戦間期における、社会文化の機械化、および、ラジオ・映画のような視覚・聴覚中心の光学的流線型文化が理想化＝マシーン化する身体の政治性を、抑圧される（および回帰する）身体感覚（触覚）をキーワードに、文学、視覚芸術、SF、ジャーナル、映画、写真等のクロスメディアの視座から、海外の第一次資料も交え検証し、当時の身体感覚変容のダイナミズムおよび人間とマシーンとの差異に関する新たな歴史的視座を提出する。
