Outline of Research at the Start	シュルレアリスムの再発見・再評価の動きが世界的に活発化しているなか、日本に関しては、第２次世界大戦前の初期受容の詩学・芸術史的意義の検証が不十分なままである。そこで本研究では、日本のシュルレアリスム受容の過程をたどり直し、日本のシュルレアリスムを新たな視座から、特に創作理論や作品構成の重視や、主知主義や行動主義の導入といった視点から再評価する。さらにこの時代のシュルレアリスム詩の翻訳出版や、絵画作品の複製による展覧会をシュルレアリスムの発祥地フランスで開催することで、日本の事例の特徴や創造性を国外へ向けても紹介し、この芸術運動の受容が日本のモダニズム芸術史において果たした役割を示す。
