Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、近代への移行期のヨーロッパにおけるイソップ集の諸相を、とくに17世紀に刊行されたイソップ集を中心に検討したうえで、当時のヨーロッパにおける古典受容や西洋古典研究の観点から、近世から近代へ向けたイソップ集の在り方の変化について多角的に分析し、新しい知見の獲得を目指すものである。本研究においては、（1）17世紀のヨーロッパで出版されたイソップ集の実態調査、（2）同時代のイソップ集の社会的位置づけの解明、（3）同時代の西洋古典研究に関する調査、（4）近代へ接続するイソップ集の具体的検討、という4点を中心的課題とする。
