Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は現代アフリカ文学において、2010年代以降、同時代的に新たな展開と隆盛を見せる歴史小説とスペキュラティヴ・フィクションについて、その動向と背景を探ったうえで、これら二大潮流に共通する問題意識を解き明かすことを試みる。この十数年のうちに発表され、学術的調査が十分に進んでいない新しいアフリカ文学作品の分析に取り組み、二つのジャンルの同時代性および隣接性を探る。最終的には、過去の古典作品にも新たな光を投げかけ、アフリカ文学史の再考を目指す。
