Outline of Research at the Start	英語で視覚行為を表す表現には、動詞lookの他に、take/have a lookのように、対応する名詞を目的語として同じような意味を表す表現がある。日本語にも「一瞥をやる」などの似たような表現がある。本研究では、このような出来事を表す名詞を目的語とする「支援動詞構文」を考察し、視覚行為が英語と日本語においてどのような事態として理解されるのかを明らかにする。具体的には、「lookのような視覚行為を表す目的語名詞がどのような動詞と共起し、句としてどのような視覚行為を表すのか」をはじめとする問いに対して、コーパス・アンケート調査を元に、認知言語学の枠組みで実証的に解明することを目指す。
