Outline of Research at the Start	中国語の品詞体系をめぐっては現在も異なる2つの立場による論争が続いているが、いずれの立場の品詞研究でも、成語に対する分析は十分に進んでいない。これらは従来、語以外のレベルで処理されることが多かったが、実際には語として認定すべきものが含まれており、文法機能を明確に記述した上で、品詞体系の中で適切な位置づけを見出す必要がある。本研究では、4字形式のうち成語を調査対象として取り上げ、それらの文法機能を記述してデータベース化すること、更には収集したデータに基づき成語の文法機能と内部構造との相関関係について分析を行うことを目的とする。
