Outline of Research at the Start

私たちはどのように言語を理解し、産出しているのだろうか。また、その方略は言語普遍的なのか、言語により異なるのだろうか。本研究は、否定と副詞節(because節）の作用域に関する構造が複数可能な文（多義構造文）の処理における、文の情報構造や韻律特性の役割について探究する。英語の結果を踏まえ、スペイン語や日本語での同等の構造の処理プロセスを検証する。また、L2英語話者の文処理にも焦点を当て、外国語の情報構造やプロソディの知識を学習者は利用できるか、またその指導の可能性にもつなげていく。自己ペース黙読・発話産出・視線計測などの手法を用いて、国内外の研究協力者との協働も組み入れた言語間比較を行う。
