Outline of Research at the Start

日本語歌謡の譜割 (音符と言語音の対応) を分析した先行研究によって、近年日本語リズムが外国語 (主に英語) の音節構造の影響を受けて変化している可能性が指摘されている。この分野の先行研究はこれまで小規模に行われてきたが、本研究では、リズム研究を専門とする研究代表者が、歌声研究を専門とする研究協力者の所属するカラオケ企業の大規模歌謡曲データの提供を受けて年代横断型の分析を行い、日本語リズムにおける外国語音節構造の影響を体系的に解明する。本研究の成果は理論言語学への貢献に加え、外国語教育や音楽分野、自動音声認識や話し言葉および歌声の合成音声の精度向上など諸分野への応用が期待される。
