Outline of Research at the Start

独り言はことばでありながら、会話研究が主流の言語学において研究が極めて遅れている分野である。そのため、独り言に関する二つの西洋的価値観（対話性・省略性）の言語学的検証も進んでいない。本研究の目的は、省略が多いとされる日本語の独り言の文法的・談話語用論的特徴の記述を通して、これら二つの学術的前提の検証を行うことである。特に、四つの重点項目（省略・縮約形式など）を設定し、他言語（主に英語と韓国語）との比較を通して、日本語の独り言の特徴を明らかにする。本研究により、二つの学術的前提を非西欧語の観点から検証するだけでなく、スポーツ心理学への応用や独り言が多いとされる精神疾患への理解の向上も期待できる。
