我々は「全国共通語」を学んだことがない。我々は耳で聞いた「全国共通語」を（いわば）見よう見まねで、まねし、「全国共通語」だと思い込んだ言葉を話している。
その結果、地方ごとにその姿は異なっている。
その言葉を「亜種共通語」と名付け、「地方議会会議録」をその典型的な資料として扱い、「亜種共通語」の実態とその地方ごとの違いの考察を行い、改めて、現代の「全国共通語」とは何かを、解明していくものである。
