Outline of Research at the Start

近年の極小主義プログラムでは、コピー形成操作としてForm Copyが提案され、句移動によらずに空所を含む長距離依存関係を構築することが可能となった。本研究課題では、この新たなコピー形成の可能性の下で、均一性やインターフェース条件の観点から予測される、主要部移動を用いない主要部間の長距離依存関係が存在すること、そして主要部移動を用いた長距離依存関係と主要部移動を用いない長距離依存関係が意味のインターフェースにおいて異なる解釈を受けることを経験的に裏付けることを試みる。この試みを通して、「言語は音と意味を結びつける最適解である」とする強い極小主義命題を追求することを目指す。
