Outline of Research at the Start	近年、日本社会でグローバル教育が推奨される中、子供達の海外留学の低年齢化が進み、家族と離れて長期間、単身留学する義務教育段階の子供達が増えつつある。しかし先行研究は、家族と海外に移住した日本人の子供達の異文化適応、帰国後の再適応の研究、または単身の場合、大学生以上を対象とした研究に留まる。新たな形で、単身で海外長期留学をする子供達の異文化適応の研究は未だ始まっておらず、その着手は急務である。本研究では、全寮制中学校）に通う日本人生徒に焦点を当て、彼らの異文化適応の過程を縦断的に調査し、その関連要因を明らかにすることを目的とする。そのために、子供達への質問票調査とインタビュー調査を実施する。
