Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、「クリティカル・リーディング指導による批判的思考力育成における明示的指導の効果を調べ、明示的指導の原則を提示する」という研究課題に取り組む。次の３点に取り組む。(1)クリティカル・リーディングによるテキストの批判的評価のために効果的な内容質問の調査とそれを基にした明示的指導の検討、(2)テキストの批判的検討に基づいた意見文作成における明示的指導の効果の調査 (3)(1)と(2)の結果に基づくクリティカル・リーディング指導における明示的指導の効果の検証。テキストは説明文(expository text)を扱う。
