| Outline of Research at the Start |
近年、メタバースを活用した外国語教育の研究が国内でも進められ、従来のオンライン教育が抱えるインタラクション不足や没入感の欠如といった課題を補う手段として注目されている。さらに、国際的な学びを促進するCOIL型教育の実践が広がる一方で、学習者同士の活発なインタラクションの確保が課題である。そこで本研究では、海外校と連携し、汎用性の高い2Dメタバースを活用した課題解決学習型（PBL）の英語学習によって、これらの課題に取り組み、エンゲージメントが促進される可能性を探る。また、学習者の不安が軽減され、どのように影響を与えるかを明らかにし、さらに、英語学習意欲や課題関与、英語力の向上が有効かを検証する。
