Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は『ヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠』（Council of Europe, 2001）の発行以来、日本では未だその議論と活用が不十分なメディエーション（仲介）活動について、国内外の英語の大学入試と高校英語教科書を分析して、これまで話す活動などに分類されていた活動をメディエーション活動として再整理する。次に日本の英語学習者に適した真正性の高いメディエーション活動の学習課題を開発・検証する。本研究により、日本の学校英語教育での言語活動の捉え方にパラダイムの転換を生み、日本の英語学習者がメディエーション活動を行うための技能を習得できるように英語教育を改善することを目指す。
