Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、映像翻訳において散見されるAIと人手による翻訳とのギャップを分析することで、これからの時代に学習者が身につけるべきリテラシーを検討する。高度な専門性をもつ映像翻訳技術を理論的に分析し、MTでは代用が困難な領域や「AI時代に求められるリテラシー」に焦点を当てながら、得られた知見を外国語教育に応用することが目的である。具体的には、字幕の作成作業から、EGP (English for General Purposes) およびESP (English for Specific Purposes) に効果的な学習法を抽出し、カリキュラム作成に活用する。
