Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は英語科教育の小中接続の実現に向け、初期読み書き技能の具体的指導法の確立を目指すものである。主な目的は、(1)日本語母語話者の音韻認識がその後の英語読み書き習得に影響するかの検証、(2)初期読み書き習得を促すために最低限必要な(threshold)音韻認識発達レベルの特定と到達度測定テストの開発、(3)小学校で高めた音韻認識を、中学校の「語の読み書き」習得に生かす指導タスクの作成である。小学校高学年時の音韻認識が中学校での読み書き習得にどう関わるかを経時的に調査し、特定した音韻認識threshold levelの到達度確認ツールと指導タスクを「語の読み書き指導プログラム」として提案する。
