Outline of Research at the Start

英語教育におけるコンピュータ利用の拡大に伴い、動的で変化に富み、学習者の視覚的興味を引き付けるアニメーション教材の使用が増加している。一方で、静的で情報を詳細に分析するのに適した静止画像教材の有用性も再評価されている。両教材にはそれぞれ長所があり、脳の異なる領域を賦活させる可能性がある。本研究では、fMRIを使用して、両教材を利用する際の脳の活動パターンを特定し、その効果の違いが学習面に与える影響を脳科学的根拠に基づいて分析する。さらに、本研究では、アニメーション教材と静止画像教材の特性を脳科学的観点から考察し、学習内容に応じてそれぞれの教材を選択するための指針と相補的な利用方法を提案する。
