Outline of Research at the Start

英語教員を目指す大学生は、生徒のロールモデルとなるために、音声に関する知識を持つと同時に「国際的に伝わりやすい英語発音力」を有する必要がある。しかし、多くの学生は、高校卒業までの段階で学習した英単語の意味が認識できる程度の受け身的な知識しか持っておらず、適切な発音が習得できていない。本研究では、意味・つづり字・伝わる発音の3つを結びつけた単語習得のためのコンピュータ支援発音訓練アプリを開発し、その効果を検証する。本アプリは、教員の英語発音知識と実践を橋渡しするツールとなることが期待される。
