Outline of Research at the Start

予測不可能な時代における主体的な英語学習者の育成のためには、既存の規範との比較からくる欠損観に囚われずに、内的な規範を自ら更新し続ける言語学習者の育成という視点での研究が重要である。動機づけ研究では、学習者が描く将来の自己像の役割が重要視されているが、理想の規準を何に置くのかが明確でない。本研究は、母語話者に規準を置かずに他者と協働的に対話を構築するというリンガフランカとしての英語話者という自己像が、どのような経験を通して形成され、それが実際の行動にどう結びつくかを、留学生と交流できる環境にある大学生を対象に研究する。
