Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、18世紀アラビア海の海域秩序の解明を試みるものである。具体的には、法源とみなしうる、同海域をめぐって在地および外来の国家・政体間で結ばれた条約類を可能な限り網羅的に収集・分析し、そこから海洋法的規範を抽出・体系化する。その上で、そうした条約類の運用状況や実際の海洋に関わる紛争の解決方法を検討する。以上により、理論と実践の両面から同海域の秩序を明らかにする。
