Outline of Research at the Start

中世水運にかかる諸税、なかでも「升米」と「商船目銭」の追究に重点を置き、先行研究においては名目や所収史料に関する概説にとどまっていた湊津関係の諸税について、賦課主体、対象、税率、期限、徴収実務の担当者、徴収地と納入手続き、用途などについて、『兵庫北関入船納帳』に代表される関連史料を悉皆的、総合的に再検討し、先行研究を補完し、研究の進展を図る。
