Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、新出の一次資料の分析を通じて、複数の炭鉱企業を比較しつつ、戦後日本の炭鉱労働社会の実態を明らかにするものである。この目的に則して、本研究は、(1)筑豊文庫資料および端島資料の整理・目録作成作業、(2)戦後の炭鉱に関する資料の所在調査・把握、(3)産炭地別と経営規模別という2つの比較の視座から、戦後の炭鉱労働社会を再構成する、という3つの課題を設定する。稼業地・経営規模を異にする複数の炭鉱企業を比較検討し、各炭鉱における労働者の属性、雇用関係、労働・生活を明らかにするとともに、それらを比較検討することによって、炭鉱で暮らした人々の姿を具体的に解明することを目指す。
