Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、研究代表者がこれまで行ってきた「訳官使」研究の成果を足がかりとして、前近代において対馬が朝鮮に派遣してきた各種使節の実態を検討する。対馬から朝鮮に派遣する使節については、実は意外にも研究が進んでいないことが分かったからである。とりわけ「参判使」についてはいまだ全体像の把握もできていないので、本研究では「参判使」の全体像を始めとする「対馬から朝鮮に派遣する使節」の整理を試みる。以上の研究は近代国家成立以前に独自に外国に使節を派遣できていた対馬藩の経験の探求でもあり、近代日朝関係を研究する上での足がかりを築くことも見据えている。
