Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、平戸の地域史料を用いて、近世中後期の日本の地域社会における学知の形成について検討し、対外認識に与えた影響を明らかにする。主な史料として、平戸町人の未整理の文書（個人蔵）を使用する。これらの文書の目録を作成した上で、平戸藩の藩政文書と対照しながら、地域における学問受容や対外認識に関する分析を行う。そして、近世に蓄積された学知が近代の対外観や地域意識にいかに接続したのか展望する。
