Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、エチオピアのキリスト教徒が用いた調理器具・食器の通時的変化、またエチオピア帝国で最も多くの人口を擁したオロモと呼ばれる民族集団の食文化に関する研究を行い、それらがエチオピアのキリスト教徒の食文化に与えた影響について検討する。そしてそこから得られた知見を基にして、エチオピアの「国民料理」の形成に関する議論に貢献し、また食文化史研究による新たな歴史研究の可能性を提示する。
