Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、サファヴィー朝時代（1501～1736年）に編纂された普遍史書文献（神の天地創造に始まる一神教的な世界認識に裏打ちされた、人類の歴史を解き明かした文献）の史料的性格を明らかにした上で、特に、①神による天地創造に始まる人類史の描き方、②古代ペルシア史の描き方、③イスラーム教の預言者ムハンマドの描き方、④シーア派の指導者たちの描き方、⑤世界の歴史の描き方の五つの点を軸に叙述の変化や特徴を分析し、この時代の普遍史書の傾向を明らかにし、その前後の時代を通じての普遍史叙述の展開に位置付ける。また、未刊行史料については、分析結果を積極的に刊行し使用可能な史料の幅を広げ新たな視点を提示していく。
