Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、中国古代帝国の終焉期にあたる後漢王朝について、地域社会をどう治め、どのような影響を与えたかを明らかにすることを目的とする。後漢王朝は、歴代の中国王朝と周辺地域に国家像のモデルを提供したのであり、その統治のあり方と社会への影響を考察するは、中国古代史にとどまらない意義を有する。従来は史料が少なく、後代の歴史観の影響を脱して検討することが困難であったが、本研究は、新たに出土した、統治を担う地方官府で作成された文書を活用することで、この課題を明らかにする。
