Outline of Research at the Start

第二次世界大戦後フランスにおける都市化の進展に伴い、地方都市周辺部に開発された大規模集合住宅（郊外団地）について、その開発と展開の歴史的プロセスを、住民の貧困化や失業など「都市問題」の発生メカニズムと、当該問題に対する総合的な対策たる「都市政策」の特徴を重視しながら分析し、モデル化する。とくに、都市問題の発生期において一部地域の郊外団地に大量に流入しはじめる移民の存在に着目し、関係当局がフランス社会に対する移民の統合のためにもちいることを予定していた政策（移民統合政策）および移民統合モデルに関する思想（移民統合モデル）が、都市問題の展開および都市政策の選択に与えたインパクトを明らかにする。
