Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、第二次大戦後に旧ドイツ帝国の東部地域から難民・被追放民として西部・中部ドイツに流入してきたドイツ人の戦後初期における社会・経済的な受容過程を、未公刊資料に基づき実証的に跡付けることを目的としている。特にドイツ経済の心臓部として重要な役割を担ってきたルール工業地帯を包摂する形で新設されたノルトライン・ヴェストファーレン州（NRW）の事例を取りあげる。具体的には、ルール地方の石炭業と担当所轄官庁が難民・被追放民の大量流入と如何に関わってきたかを調査・分析する。それと共に、難民・被追放民が戦後初期の西ドイツ、とりわけNRWの社会・経済に与えた影響とその意義の再考を試みることを意図している。
