Outline of Research at the Start

グローバル化は、ヒト・モノ・情報の移動によって各々に営まれる人々の生活に交流、つながり、そして融合を促す。これは、分散して存在する多様な思考や生活様式を凝縮そして単一化することでもあり、その過程を支配しようとする勢力争いがローカル、ナショナル、グローバルなレベルで社会の分断を引き起こす。本研究は、グローバル化の危機の時代（1930年代40年代）のハワイを中心とする女性たちの活動が、他地域の国際女性運動および戦後の新たな国際連携の試みにどのように関わっていたのかを考察する。
