Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、フランス絶対王政において、地方長官を初めとする新時代の行政官僚が王権主導のものでいかに養成されていくか、これらのポストに任ぜられる人材はどのような人事考課を経て選抜されるのかについて、定量的および定性的手法をクロスさせて解析することで、人事システムという視角からフランス近世社会の特質を照射することを目指す。分析の主眼は、高等法院等司法官、国王政府中枢の訴願審査官、地方長官、国務評定官、そして各大臣達におかれる。彼らがどのようなキャリアパスを経て昇進していくか、その時に作動する人材登用の原理・メカニズムはいかなるものであったのか、を明らかにする。
