Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、フランス革命期の地方議会における地域代表性と租税配賦システムに注目し、一般利益と地方利益の相克から公正な租税配賦が実現する過程を解明することで、フランス革命から名望家支配への移行を具体的に跡付けることを目指す。具体的には、県次元以下の行政区画に設置された地方議会を対象として、地方議会における地域代表性と租税配賦システムを分析する。史料としては、国立中央文書館及び地方文書館に所蔵される選挙関連文書と議会議事録を用いる。
