Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、イギリス帝国における暴力的な植民地支配のあり方を法という観点から明らかにするために、19世紀から20世紀初頭の英領インドにおける「緊急事態宣言（emergency）」を事例として取り上げ、その制度化と運用についての事例研究を行う。これにより、「緊急事態宣言」を通じた暴力の合法化という観点から、英領インドの歴史を記述する。
