Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、宗派化にともなう人の移動の活発化に直面した近世ヨーロッパ社会が、必ずしも同化や社会統合の道をたどることなく、他者を他者のまま受容し多様化社会を形成した過程を考察対象とする。とりわけ、17世紀末から19世紀初頭にかけてユグノーの自治・自立性を保障する形で地元住民との共生が図られたベルリンに焦点をあて、文書館史料によりながら入植当初の入植地長シャルル・アンシヨンのもとで、多様なユグノーらが、マジョリティ社会に対して他者として尊重されるべき、自らの利害や価値観をいかに形成したのかを明らかにする。そうすることで、マジョリティ側の「包摂」と「排除」の基準に翻弄されない共生の一断面を提示したい。
