Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，木材を多く用いた空間（多木質空間）の湿度環境に関わる特異性（わずかな温度上昇で湿度が通常空間に比較して大きく低下する，季節レベルの温度変動において昇温期に増加した湿度が降温期でも減少しないなど）の機構を解明し，それを利用・制御することで，自立性の高い省エネ型の文化財保存空間の実現を目指すものである。本システムは非常に単純なため，応用が容易で既設・新設を問わずさまざまな施設の省エネ化に寄与できる。
