Outline of Research at the Start

日本では地域の主力漁業と複数の「生計手段となる小規模生産漁業」は、漁業法や地域的規制、流通、市場等の関係性の中で管理されるフォーマルなプラットフォーム上に併存する。本研究は日本の漁業のフォーマルなプラットフォーム上で主力漁業と複数の「生計手段となる小規模生産漁業」が多層的に存在する状況がどのような社会、文化、経済、自然環境の条件の下に生成したのかを検討する。そして小規模生産漁業が残った背景と要因を具体的な事例から実証的に解明し、日本の漁業の多層性とダイナミズムを新たな分析枠組みから検討する。
