Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、ナイジェリアで作品の制作と販売を生業とするアーティストの実践がどのように成り立っているのかを、グローバルな芸術市場などの制度と人々の生き方に注目して明らかにする。人類学で既に議論されてきた芸術の制度の権力性を再認識しつつ、その制度の内外で、アフリカを拠点に生きる方法に本研究は注目する。近年、脱植民地化や倫理、投資の観点からもアフリカ美術が注目される一方で、それらはますます資本主義に回収されるようになっている。この時代に、本研究はアフリカで暮らす人々の社会的文化的文脈を生き方として明らかにすることを通して、人々やコミュニティを起点としてアフリカと芸術を人類学的に提示することをめざす。
