Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、ニュージーランド・マオリの先住民思想家リンダ・トゥヒワイ・スミス(1999)の言う「《研究》という言葉は、先住民の言語の中で最も汚れた言葉の一つである」という指摘への反省から出発する。先住民研究は誰がおこない誰のためにあるのだろうか？本研究では、グローバルノースにもその影響が波及しているラテンアメリカの先住民文化が国民文化と混交融合をおこしてきた文化現象に着目し、メキシコ、コスタリカ、チリなどの先住民社会がどのように「文化的脱植民地化」を実践しているのかをインタビューと参与観察を通して民族誌的に明らかにする。
