Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、行政手続の一種である理由提示手続に関する総合的研究である。行政法学における従来の研究は、一般法たる行政手続法に基づく理由提示に係る諸問題（機能、程度、違反の帰結等）に主に関心が向けられてきた「行政一般法的視点からの研究」であった。本研究はこうした従来の研究をさらに発展させるとともに、独自の点として、個別行政法上の理由提示に係る個別行政法的視点からの検討にも目を向け、また、オーストラリア行政法等の外国法、さらには、行政法以外の法分野における理由提示をも対象とし、それらの比較検討を通して、従来の行政一般法的視点からの理由提示研究を深化させるとともに、その成果をフィードバックする。
