Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、統計学の小地域推定手法を活用し、都道府県および衆院小選挙区レベルでの有権者の政策選好の違いを明らかにすることを目的とする。これにより、地域ごとに多様な政治現象を規定する要因を解明し、都市対地方という従来の枠組みを超えた政治的多様性を示す。特に、政策選好の違いが産業構造や人口動態などの社会経済的属性でどの程度説明できるかを検証し、選挙結果や候補者の政策位置への影響を分析する。これにより、地域ごとの政策選好がもたらす政治的帰結を解明し、日本政治研究に新たな視点を提供、また国際的な比較政治学研究に貢献することを目指す。
