Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、選挙参加の下限を理論的に明確化することである。この課題は、私たちの民主主義の可能性を拡張することに貢献するはずである。とくに、シルバー・デモクラシーが問題視される現代社会で、本研究が民主主義のルールを逸脱しないで、民主主義をさらに充実させながら、この傾向に対応する点に意義がある。下限年齢による包摂が意味するのは、私たちの同格者としてのデモスの承認である。本研究は、私たちがどこまで民主主義者でいられるのかに関する、自覚と覚悟を明らかにする。
