Outline of Research at the Start	日本とドイツは、戦後「自由で開かれた国際秩序」の中で復興し、脱冷戦期には平和主義を超え積極的安全保障政策を展開してきた。本研究は、国際関係論と比較政治経済学に基づく分析的折衷主義の立場から、武器輸出と国家安全保障戦略の関係を日独比較で考察する。焦点を当てるのは、①反軍国主義の文化、②国家と産業の制度的関係、③安全保障環境の変化である。近年両国は武器輸出を拡大し、国際秩序維持の戦略に組み込んでいる。「平和のための武器輸出」という矛盾に着目し、その政策転換の意味を分析する。
