Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は新興国協力に基づく二国間のパートナーシップの強化という視点から日本の対ラテンアメリカ外交と各国の反応を検討することである。日本とラテンアメリカが連関する政治経済の力学に注目することは、安倍総理が提唱したインド太平洋の地域的安定と繁栄の実現を目指す「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」の概念を日本がラテンアメリカにも拡大する狙いがあることを証明する学術的独自性と創造性を持つ。本課題は新興国の台頭が遠因となり、日本外交が重要性を想起するアフリカや中東諸国など他のグローバルサウスの例でも適用可能性が高く、比較外交政策研究の理論・実証面でも貢献できる。
