Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、米国の国境安全保障に関する党派性を超えた政策的な連続性を検証することによって、その実効性および規範性を複合的に分析することである。本研究の方法としては、米国の国境安全保障に関する文献・資料の解読、米墨国境地域における不法移民の流入数の実証的なデータ分析、研究者や現地住民へのインタビュー調査(アンケート調査を含む)を行う。本研究は、マクロレベルの国境安全保障の盲点を明らかにし、ミクロな生活圏としての国境地域に必要な安全保障を確立する学術的波及効果が期待できる。
