Outline of Research at the Start

今日，経済学者の間には，学派の違いを超えて「制度は重要である」(Institutions Matter)というコンセンサスが成立している。しかし，「制度がどれほど重要であるのか」「制度の効果サイズは如何ほどであるのか」「この観点から異なる制度間に相違はあるのか」という点に関する研究者の理解は不十分である。本研究プロジェクトは，経済成長及び企業パフォーマンスに対する諸制度のインパクトを推定した先行研究の実証成果を大規模に統合・比較する先端的メタ分析を行うことにより，制度の経済効果に関する総合的知見を世界に向けて体系的に発信することで，経済学における制度研究のより一層の展開に貢献する。
