Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題では、効用最大化仮説が暗黙のうちに消費者理論に加える仮定を検討するために、主観的交換比率に基づく限界革命以前の消費者理論の数学的表現を考え、それが現代的な理論と整合的であるための条件を探す。この種の表現の可能性問題は積分可能性問題と呼ばれ、１９世紀から研究が続いているが、そこで主に扱われていたのは微分を用いた複雑な条件であった。このような条件では、我々は消費者にどのような仮定が追加されたのかを理解できない。したがって、本研究課題では古典的な条件と同値で、かつ消費者の仮定として経済学的な理解が可能となるような、別の条件を探し、その仮定が消費者になにをもたらしているかを考察する。
