Outline of Research at the Start	地球温暖化問題は国際的な最重要課題の1つであるが、航空は技術的にCO2排出量の削減が困難な部門の1つである。その一方で、新たな成長産業として、我が国では観光産業が注目されている。観光立国の実現と両輪を成す航空輸送の拡大は環境負荷の増大を引き起こすことから、航空会社に対しては、環境にも配慮した航空機の運航が求められる。このような観点から、本研究の第1の目的は、環境負荷を内生化した持続可能な航空ネットワーク形成に取り組み、経済効率性と環境効率性を同時に最適化する機材配備と運用を明らかにすることである。そして、我が国の国内航空部門に対して、中長期的な航空／環境政策を提言することを第2の目的とする。
